This was too good to be left over. The image of this sweatshirt was born. The backed fabric is limited, so this is a limited edition item that can only be used up for a limited period of time.

Packaging that can be returned to the earth The packaging uses a biodegradable box made of pulp material. After use, the label can be peeled off and used as a seedling pot. When the seedlings have grown, the entire box can be buried in the ground, where it will eventually decompose and be assimilated by the soil.

About the Zan;p series
What is “leftover fabric”? It is fabric that is left over during the production process, such as when knitting or sewing fabric. Usually, it is not distributed and is discarded, but it is just “leftover”, with the quality of the fabric not being a problem.

Japan consumes 820,000 tonnes of clothing annually, of which 90%, or 790,000 tonnes, is thrown away.
Of this, 150,000 tonnes is reused as used clothing, 120,000 tonnes is reused for industrial purposes or as raw materials, 110,000 tonnes is repaired and used, and a whopping 510,000 tonnes of this is waste. In terms of number of garments, this amounts to 2 billion garments. 


On average, each of us buys about 18 pieces of clothing per year, gives away about 12 pieces, and 25 pieces of clothing are never worn in a year.
Clothes are thrown away in short cycles and are not fully re-used. However, if we change our perspective and look at the problem of clothing disposal from an ethical point of view, we can see that The product is transformed into a product with a new sense of value that satisfies both the creator and the user.

Aiming for a circular economy = recycling-oriented clothing With the cooperation of various factories, leftover cloth is collected, re-woven and sewn each time. The Zan:p series was then completed using the leftover fabric.
